Bryan Fuentes has recently accomplished a Bachelor's degree in economics at the University of California at Riverside (UCR). After interning at the United States Treasury Department, Bryan Fuentes spent the summer of 2011 working at Safeway in Georgetown, Washington, D.C., and interning for 20 weeks at Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) in Arlington, VA.  Although he comes from a small family, Bryan Fuentes dreams of living and working far beyond his hometown of Los Angeles. Fuentes loves his grandmother and is very proud of his single-parent mother who is continuing her education at Pasadena City College. Bryan Fuentes is an only child.  Bryan Fuentes has a personality that is driven by lots of smiling, curiosity questions, and firm handshakes. In addition to being a food enthusiast, Fuentes enjoys Dodger Dogs at Dodger Stadium and lives for summertime hikes at Griffith Park with his two uncles who happen to be twins. Bryan and his uncles enjoy Thai BBQ and Salvadorian food as well.     Fuentes believes in capitalism and free enterprise, but also advocates for a smart, efficient government to regulate fair play and intermediate social investments. Fuentes favors the idea that economic performance is enhanced by investments in health and education. Fuentes is interested in learning more about Rockefeller Republicans.   The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) has chosen Bryan Fuentes to be an Eden Tisdale Fellow in Washington, D.C. for the summer of 2012.
